What is your good reason why you were put on this planet? Are you not fed up?

Question

What is your good reason why you were put on this planet? Are you not fed up?
Thanks for sharing your good thoughts. Have a great day!

Answer

It seems that each thing has its specific purpose, its own reason, place and a use, among all things of the world plants, animals, insects, microbes, ocean, land, clouds, wind and rain, all as though all are of one common purpose, connected as one singular being where all the forms and their subjective functions are but the manifestations of one reality, and its purpose, all the performances, roles, and acts of a specific duty, are for their meaningfulness within the grand unison of one all mighty design. brbrThis is as if there are many strings of various lengths, and vibrations, or many keys of various notes, on an instrument, but in the mind of the virtuoso incognito all notes, their tones of vibrations, come together in a single symphonic rendering, of a jingle or a song. Then the jarring effects of natural causes that to humans ear sound out of tune, barring human senses from its delight and appeasement, to the levels where, ease of thought, of a fantasy or a dream, begins to shatter, and breaks into pieces, the jitters of unanswerable questions, aiming at nowhere and pointing at nothing, but there all the time nevertheless, as the very reality of the mind.brbrThere is nowhere in the universe to be found an existence questioning, perpetually perplexed, dubious, and marred by selfdoubt, other than that of Man all things except have their purposeful capacities, and no room for a questioning thought about what may lie beyond their nature, except for Man. Man would question, the human mind would explore possibilities beyond nature, beyond natural form and natural function of our heart and body and mind. Man alone have additional room for thought, for questioning, and the purpose of questioning seems to be to question all purposes, to find what might we have in us aside what nature has fixedly set. brbrWe seek to know as what is the purpose of our being in this universe, and then with that, what is the purpose of the universe itself, of existence, and of life. These, and the questions like these, even before they are considered for any answering, I think, reveal a great deal about us, i.e. perhaps about the presence of the very thing that we feel is missing, the answers. We need answers, as the reason, of our being, on this planet. brbrØWe reason if there are the questions then where are the answers?brØWe see that there is nowhere that answers are to be found, aside ourselves who at least have questions.brØThen let us turn back, and meditate upon life, for the questions we have, a little longer.brØAs, why only we have the questions?brØMay be we are the answers ourselves, i.e. would we not find it amusing if the answer would be looking for itself, with a question standing in the way each time?brbrI think what hinders our searching is the same things spurs us along to find, the questioning mind that stand in between the mind exploring itself, between us and us waiting to be found, and in this the loftier the questions we ask the higher the expectations become that we have about ourselves. We would never be fed up being here, being alive, and being inquisitive, as all the searches in their ultimate point back to us, to the secrets of our origin, and all the wildest paths are laid for us to eventually lead us back to our home.

Question

What is your goaldream in life ?
plss be decent while answering..

Answer

Its not that easy to paint a picture of my dreams with words, Ill try my best none the less. I feel we have a inherent tendency to set our targets and goals to achieve only one objective in life i.e. quothappinessquot. All the money, power and material belongings we desire are meant to give us that elusive moment of joy. I too wish too achieve them, but only to sustain myself. And not because I attach my sense of joy with material pleasure. I have realized rather early in life that our existence is only to spread happiness amp love to the people we interact with in our daily lives. And, trust me that is what my goaldream is....to spread love amp happiness in what ever little way I can. brbrVery Good Q!! brbrCheers!!!

Question

What is your favourite childrens book or story and why?
Its National Literacy and Numeracy Week in Australia currently!

Answer

For children under brThe Little Prince, by Antoine de SaintExupéry Its an amazing moral allegory, teaching children truth through metaphor at a young age. Its engaging, interesting and the pictures make it fun for little kids to read. Its also very entertaining. Probably my favourite book as a child, though I didnt really appreciate it until very recently. brbrThe Harry Potter series, by JK. Rowling Great entertainment! I remember reading the first book at the tender age of . I loved it, I remember eagerly awaiting the next book, and reenacting scenes of the book with friends at school, running around the playground with pretend broomsticks and wands. It captivated the imagination of a generation, and is the type of story that can be read continuously, from childhood right through into adulthood. Very imaginative and highly interesting and entertaining. I started a reread of the series recently, and as a teenager now, I love revisiting the adventures of Harry at Hogwarts, reminds me of my childhood days. brbrThe Giving Tree, by Shel Silverstein Great short story, especially for little kids. Amazing message of love! Great story of change, discovery and love. Its for children and adults of all ages, the moral of the story will last with you forever. brbrThe Happy Prince and other stories, by Oscar Wilde Great short stories by Oscar Wilde, very entertaining, have morals attached and enjoyable to listen to or read. They are perfect for nighttime stories and stir imagination. All the stories have a strong message, that drives children to think about the world around them, and the basic elements of the human condition. brbrbrFor Children over brbrTo Kill a Mockingbird, by Harper Lee I read this book first, at around the age of . Its realistic, imaginative and extremely entertaining! The stories of Atticus Finch, and his infamous, You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view until you climb into his skin and walk around in it, are words to live a relationship and life by. His fatherfigure image was a great didactic journey, combined with the lessons about the effects of segregation and alienation, I truly believe this book is amazing for children it certainly was for me! Its also entertaining, witty and incredibly hilarious. Kids who enjoy reading, will love it!brbrOf Mice and Men, by John Steinbeck One of the alltime favourites, a heart warm tragedy. It has a relevant message and a great storyline. Its humorous, interesting and intriguing! I loved it absolutely, from start of finish. I read it first when I was , I thought it was an impressive book. Its about acceptance and isolation, and belonging to a society. Great novel, that moves your heart, the story and message showcases the impact of literature. brbrbrLord of the Flies, by William Golding This book is for young teenagers, I personally first read it at around the age of . Its once again, an allegorical story that delves deep into the human psyche. Of course I didnt understand this at age , but I loved it for what I saw it as, and what all children see it as a gripping, entertaining, and adventurous novel that you cant stop reading. Definitely recommend this to all kids who have an interest in thrillers, because this certainly is one! brbrThe Hobbit The Lord of the Rings trilogy, by JRR Tolken The films do justice to the book. I watched the films first and when I started reading the book I could picture the events on Jacksons screenplay. I think its a must for all teenagers. It has a gripping storyline that entertains, and cultivates imagination beyond comprehension. I would recommend reading the books before watching the films though. brbrThe Chronicles of Narnia, by CS Lewis Great series! Adventure, morals, amazing entertainment and I remember loving reading it as a year old. Its also highly biblical, with great biblical archetypes. Its a story of love, wisdom, hope and truth. A must for children! brbrOther books I couldnt fit into the word limit, lol brbr Alice in Wonderland Lewis Carrollbr Oliver Twist, by Charles Dickens br The Tale of Two Cities, by Charles Dickensbr The War of the Worlds, by HG Wells br The Picture of Dorian Gray, by Oscar Wildebr The Wind in the Willows, by Kenneth Grahamebr Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, by Roald Dahl br His Dark Materilas Phillip Pullman

How Much Knowledge you want to Acquire in your Life ?

Question

How Much Knowledge you want to Acquire in your Life ?
i had great intrest in astronomy, philosophy and Religion

Answer

There is a limit to everything in the world, but none to knowledge. It is only when the word knowledge, representing the concept, is qualified by the use appropriate adjectives like, personal, scientific, religious, or specific, as in personal knowledge, scientific knowledge etc, that it comes to suffice the needs of our mind. There then is certain limits for certain purpose as to what would amount up to knowledge sufficient, adequate and right. brbrI would require for one specific purpose, or the other, and that, just as much as it would be necessary for me to understand, as to how my purpose could be fulfilled, or my objective achieved. In general therefore I would require just about as much knowledge as much I would need for a proper understanding. I for instance would like to know about the growth patterns of microbial organisms, in a given set of climatic conditions, about a specific form of food, its ingredients, about technology available, and about the cost, if I am to develop my expertise in food preservation.brbrIn a personal sense however, I would go further than my ability to understand things, I would seek to become sensible as a person. I would like to be aware, able to realize that there are certain things that I cannot know, and the things that however I can know, I cannot understand, and then the things I better not pursue beyond limits to understand, and the ones I better not know at all, I better know something else in their instead. I think I would like to have just as much knowledge as it would require for me to progress and develop in life, to be happy and successful, to be sensibel.

Question

How many of you went to buy any of the Harry Potter books on the first day when it was released?
How many of the HP books did u buy on the first day as in lining up outside the store at in the morning or something. I did this for HP. I bought the book and then went to school at am from there screaming with happiness all the way. I even found my photograph in the newspaper clicked while i waited for my turn at the counter. I had to wait until i got home before opening it though and had to resist my delicious secret all day at school. U can be sure i hardly ate anything until i finished the book. Imagine how angry i was when i reached the chapter titled Battle of Hogwarts and suddenly my tutor came home unannounced. I thirsted for his blood

Answer

Naw, I dont really like Harry Potter, but I just bought to collect them for fun. lol, Yeah, I had to wait in line, it took me hours just to get it! Some people camped right next to the store! It was AM when I arrived at the store. Pretty tiring

How many hours do you read per day?

Question

How many hours do you read per day?
Sometimes I find it hard to devote time to readingjob, shopping, housework, going out with friends.

Answer

One or two, tops. Honestly, although Im an avid reader, I really dont feel like I read that much, probably because I rarely sit down and just read a book. Instead, I get little snippets all the time when Im waiting for something, before class begins, while I eat my meals, while taking a bath, in the bathroom, before I go to bed. Only if a book is truly amazing will I sit and just read for hours. I think that if youre having trouble getting books read, its not that you dont want to do it, or thats it difficult, but you just arent prioritizing it and dont know how to manage time as well. Get a book you really want to read and carry it around with you and just remember that its there when you have an extra moment or two.brbrHappy reading!

How Many Books you had Read in Year ?

Question

How Many Books you had Read in Year ?
i had read about books on astronomy, religion and Philosophy

Answer

I love to read. hmmm this year. Jeez Id say well over fifty. Plus serval online novels not currently published. Its safe to say I read everyday. lol. brThese are the ones that stood out the most to me. I dont have time to list them all. brbrThe house of night books so far. An interesting take on vampires. It revoles around a sort of boarding school for vampires marked by their godess Nyx. Its pretty much centered around knowing who your true enemy is...It starts out small with a conflict between two teenages and is currently at a god gone bad stage. brbrBlue Bloods series Im on the nd but there are so far. Its another vampire novel, well in a sense. Its about people who live forever through through their special blood. The blood itself is alive and holds their memories. Of course they dont keep the same body forever...The first book centers around a half blood and other characters remembering their past while something begins to hunt on the seemily untouchable immortals. brbrSilver Kiss its a very good classic Same auther as blood and chocolate Its about Zoey a girl whos mother is rapidly dying, and a boy name Smon who is a vampire seeking revenge on his younger brother who killed their mother. The auther does wonders describing the characters emotions. brbrThe Book of Moredred Great histroical fiction. Its broken into three parts, all told from different POVs. Its starts telling the story through the mothers POV and how her and her daughter are drug into the story. They have their own share of the over fight, but just when they think theyve won the fight another persons burdened with the battle Switches POVs it does this again once more before the endin, none of the caracters are dropped from the storyline and its a wonderful story. brbrCompaions of the night a classic on forbbiden love. The story starts when a young girl goes to a landuarymat because her brother left behind his teddy bear from when they were there earlier. Shes caught in the middle of an attempt at murder. Where vampire hunters are trying to kill what seems to be an innocent boy, not a vampire. very intesne novel, it keeps you guessing whos right and whos wrong, youll never guess the outcome of any of the conflicts until thy come. brbrYawns. Sorry Id list more but its like am and Im about to fall asleep on the keyboard! brbrOkay. Im years old. I write books! ha ha lol. Seriously though. Im in the process of publishing, so yeah im a writer. brbrMy favorite of the above is the blue bloods series because of its oringal plot. As for what I got from reading them....Entertainment i suppose. Seeing as how theyre all fictional works theres not much I can get from them. For the classics I guess Id say Id get a better look at older beliefs when it comes to myths. The historcal fiction piece makes me think more about the past, it makes me think about what could of happened and how it would effect us now. brbrNot much else I can really say.

How many books have you read in your life?

Question

How many books have you read in your life?
Im at over a thousand myself.

Answer

Reading has to be one of my most favoured passions. I am a mother of a month old, so cannot always read a book a day, as I used to. But do read books per week. Have been addicted to books for as long as I can remember. So much, that one day I shall put pen to paper myself and tell my own story fiction of course.brbrA thousand is pretty impressive. I cannot say how many I have tackled, but it would be a fair amount. I have not kept a list.

How many books do you think u read with in a year?

Question

How many books do you think u read with in a year?
im just wondering if there are any more book readers that read more than me cause last year i read close to books i think it was like books

Answer

I dont exactly count my books, but I know that a few years ago I had to keep a log, and read books in a school year before I ran out of paper and was excused from logging D. In a summer I used to read around , though much less when I had big vacations. Once I read in a month! this was when books were sixty pages long for me, though...brNow that I have more work, though, I dont read nearly as often. And longer books mean less read in a year...Pretty much there are too many factors in consideration to really compare oneself to someone else in terms of books read. Feel good about being an avid reader and be set with that!brBy the way, just out of curiosity, which of the books was your fav?brEDIT The author is Stephenie Meyer, just so you know. By the way, have you read the sequels? Theyre just as good.
